Nashville-based rock band Lombardy is on a mission. Formed in 2021 by members Jonathan Plevyak (vocals, guitar) and Mike Scott (vocals, guitar), their musicality, mesmerizing live performances, and against-the-grain mindset quickly cemented the group as a staple in the Music City rock community. Joined by rhythm section Seth Rentfrow (vocals, bass) and Steve Mascarello (vocals, drums) in 2023, Lombardy entered its new ‘attitude era’ and is on a renewed mission of mayhem. Lombardy bypass generational divides with influences spanning from AC/DC and The Kinks to Beastie Boys, Rage Against the Machine, Jack White, and Beck. The group embodies an old school approach, citing the importance of deep community, independent and underground spaces, physical media superiority, as well as emphasizing their live show as the best possible medium for ingesting their culture.
Joe Hudak (Rolling Stone) says,
“Nothing beats an unpredictable live band, and Lombardy keep that spirit alive with each and every show. There's swagger, humor, and a wee bit of danger, plus a set list of impeccably crafted songs that defy genre. Like stumbling into an estate sale at a funhouse right when the doors open, you never know what weird, fun shit you're gonna find."
The band has debuted their record Catch A Buzz, Not The Fuzz with East Iris Records / Virgin Music Group after their distribution partnership in 2025. They continue their mission of world domination with plans to continuously release music and perform throughout 2026. Rock’n Roll for the People.
