Catch A Buzz, Not The Fuzz
Our debut album is out now!
A true cult classic has a few essentials: action, romance, a little cheese, and a coming-of-age arc, but what really makes it last is DIY spirit, bad attitude, and a refusal to fit the mold.
Lombardy channel all of that on Catch A Buzz, Not The Fuzz. It plays like a late night VHS marathon, popcorn in hand, tape rolling, a faint “Warning…” before the chaos begins. The opener, Warm-Up Lap, throws you straight into the driver’s seat, revving into a high-speed ride of heavy riffs and relentless energy.
Tracks like Motorbike and Jane Fonda capture life as creators in a fast moving city chasing cheap thrills, dodging boredom (and maybe the cops), and finding meaning in the in-between. Mike Scott’s snarling vocals hit like screeching tires, loud, urgent, impossible to ignore.
Jonathan Plevyak shifts the tone with I’m A Vibe, a loose, self-assured anthem, alongside Back To You and Venice Beach 1989, both steeped in longing and distance. Seth Rentfrow steps forward on Sexify, a gritty, tongue-in-cheek moment that leans all the way in.
The album closes with Goodbye (Get High), a hazy comedown, reflective and raw. It’s the bonfire after the burnout.
Catch A Buzz, Not The Fuzz is a ride you don’t just finish, you rewind it, replay it, and pass it around like a hidden gem you found at the bottom of the bin.
YOU KNOW WHAT IT IS!
Get The Blood Pumping & The Speakers Bumping with "Jane Fonda' - OUT NOW.
With “Jane Fonda,” Nashville rockers Lombardy capture the reckless charm of a late night joyride, pairing it with snarling guitars and tongue in cheek swagger. Equal parts 90s alt-rock bite and downtown barroom chaos, the track plays like a neon lit movie scene. Motorbikes, PBR breath, Midwest satire, and a chorus made to be yelled back by a crowd.
Already picking up significant online buzz and quickly becoming an instant fan favorite in Lombardy’s live set, “Jane Fonda” shows staying power well before release day. It’s loud, playful, and effortlessly cool. “Fonda” is Lombardy at their most confident, inviting listeners to dance, shout, and ride off into the Panasonic sunset.
AIN'T HERE FOR THE RULES.
Our new song "I'm a vibe" is spinning now.
Lombardy’s new single, "I’m A Vibe," is a pop rock anthem for anyone who’s ever felt like an outsider. With influences from Beck, The Viagra Boys, Nirvana, and Weezer, this fun, tongue-in-cheek track celebrates individuality and the power of embracing your quirks. It's an energetic, unfiltered shout-out to those who refuse to conform, blending catchy hooks and raw rock energy. "I’m A Vibe" is the second single off Lombardy’s upcoming debut album, bringing rock ‘n’ roll back to the people.
CATCH A BUZZ, NOT THE FUZZ!
Our new song "Motorbike" is spinning now.
"Motorbike” is a high-octane blend of grunge, rap-rock, and 90s rebellion, channeling the spirit of Beastie Boys and Rage Against the Machine. It’s a reckless joyride through youth, mischief, and the raw energy of East Nashville. With heavy riffs and nostalgic swagger, this track kicks off a new era for the band; loud, unapologetic, and made to move.
